HOWEVER, AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVED I TRIED THEM ON FOR SIZE (6) AND THEY FIT, YEA! THE ONLY COLOR OFFERED WAS "PLUM" AND I THOUGHT WHY NOT? TIRED OF BLACK AND BROWN ANYWAY. I LIKE THE ROUNDED TOE BOX AND SO DO MY TOES, THEY CAN WIGGLE AROUND.
WE VISIT OUR CHILDREN IN ENGLAND AND IT CAN BE WET AND RAINY SO WATERPROOF IS THE WAY TO GO. THEY WOULD BE A PERFECT GARDENING SHORT BOOT AS WELL, JUST SQUIRT THEM OFF.
THE WEATHER HERE NOW IS VERY HOT SO NO BOOTS FOR ME AT THE BEACH! -

She's right! They work for me because they are 1) easy to pull on & take off 2) good footbed support 3) enough room in the toe box for my feet with their hammer toes & bunion 4) they do not slip-slide as one walks. I wear SmartWool cushioned socks with them and have no rubs or blisters. I ordered a pair in size 8 and one in size 9 to try for the best fit for my mostly size 8 but sometimes size 8.5 feet. I am keeping the size 8--they fit perfectly. Love the dark plum color.

Loved the shortie version. I wore these at a 3 day herding trial recently. They were very comfortable even in warm weather. Toe box nice and roomy. Good value.
